FoxxySports.com Signs 2006 Playboy Cyber Girl of the Year Monica Leigh as Anchor

Los Angeles, CA - May 1, 2007

John Severin knew the time was ripe to parody the highly rated, and often controversial, Fox News Channel. So in 2005 he launched FoxxyNews.com and quickly witnessed the rapid rise in popularity of his satirical take on the news, news delivered by Playboy Playmates and other gorgeous models. Now FoxxyNews has announced the launch of FoxxySports.com that provides commentary of national sports news, all delivered, naturally, by some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Further to the announcement of the FoxxySports launch, the FoxxyNews team has also announced that they have just signed Monica Leigh to host FoxxySports where she will join other Playboy Playmates who also host segments of the program, including Stacy Fuson and Lauren Anderson. Other segment hostesses include Cazzy Golomb and Camille Anderson.  Ms. Leigh was the Playboy Cyber Girl of the Year in 2006 and brings a variety of talent as a performer and personality to the show.

“Beautiful girls and sports are the perfect combination. It’s a no-brainer,” Stated Severin. “The only thing we’ve left out is beer. If that could be enjoyed through the Internet, we’d try it.”

Although the Foxxy web sites are intended to provide light-hearted entertainment, there are other factors at work as far as Severin sees it. “The point was to create an internet destination that poked fun at the self-righteous and cryptic formulas of some of today’s news outlets. It all gets so depressing sometimes. If we can provide some fun and information and do it with pretty girls, then everybody wins.”
